Delicate Sterling Silver Butterfly Pendant
This lovely silver butterfly pendant struck me when I was searching for pretty butterfly jewelry the other day. There was something simple and tasteful about it that appealed to me. Butterflies seem to be the only universally beloved insect, and I thought this pretty pendant captured their delicacy perfectly. It’s not overdone, but just the opposite; a barely noticeable pattern outlines each wing, just enough to create interest without overdoing it.
I love pretty sterling silver pendants- if I wanted at this juncture in my life I could have all the gold necklaces I wanted, but I still prefer the romantic, moonlit color of sterling silver. So I’m always watching for the next beautiful example. That’s what’s so great about the Internet.
Too bad there’s so much junk out there. Me, I prefer to purchase jewelry made by artists. You know what you’re getting, and they’re made by someone who generally cares about their creations. Give me a site like The Magic Zoo any day of the week over the jewelry counter of a big department store. I’m not kidding!
